Ford Taurus SHO
Had a run in with a pre-oval generation Taurus sho. I saw the guy behind me weaving in and out of traffic (dont think he really saw me) and I immediately thought he needed a lesson. People like this kinda piss me off because they think they are the kings of the road so I always need to show them that there are better cars. He passes me and I get behind him at the light. At this point I'm not expecting him to actually try it but he guns it. Me being behind him, I have to do a normal launch or I'd hit his rear. He gets 3 car lengths on me before the car clears next to me and I can finally slam the gas. I change lanes, and stomp it. We run about 1/2 a mile before we hit traffic. At the end my nose was next to his passenger side door. gained about 2 1/2 car lengths and thought... that thing must of had a few mods of its just pretty fast. but then again, I didn't get an ideal launch and he has the inertia bonus from the start.
non modified sho's (first generation w/ stickshift and 6cyl) ran very low 15's....which isn't too much slower than most of the guys on this board get
I think there are lots of easy modifications........most SHO's have 100,000++++ miles on them by now too.

If it was an all white one with a thick white strip across the top of the windshield he goes to the Tukwila street drags and it's not even the guys car, it's his mom's. He has a killer system in it and a nice ground effect set too. never seen him race though, always thought he was all show and no go.
