and wis, why dont you get out your wrenches, and pick up a little air motor from harbor freight, and go get a hondata gasket. pull your mani, clean it all up, smooth out the intake runners, and match up the gasket, and put it all back on. reset your ECU and then drive it for a week, if you can honestly say it made zero difference, ill pay for the gasket.
you will come on here and praise the lord with your newfound power. hehehee. i personally love it as one of my fav mods.

I didn't think negative attention was good? Are you proud of getting negative attention Dave?

i have an air die grinder from there, bought it for 9$, 10 years ago. it rules, and still kicks ass to this day.

exactly, thats why spoon, mugen and companies with way more money and R&D than you and i have, or have done, sell these parts. if you track, you need to stay cool. if your bringing in more air, and you can find a way to make the car run richer, you can match those 2 up for some extra ponies. it all works out, and against what you have said, it HAS been proven, just like you said, but proven it works.
i like when you guys denounce all mods for the s2k, speaking with any one of you, i would never mod my car, and id still be slow as hell, and without cool sounds.
this is akin to "no i'm right, and you're wrong". great argument.

by the way, i've already had the hondata gasket. didn't do squat. and if you can "tell the difference" in a 10hp gain at best, then you must be the most sensitive person in the world, because no human can detect or feel such a difference. it's called cognitive dissonance, of which you seem to suffer quite a bit of.

and yeah this thread is well worn past its day.
