Racing through traffic is bad, for the very obvious reasons already stated. Racing at all on public roads is not safe, but at least when you make every effort to ensure the only people involved are willing participants, you have exercised some degree of responsibility. On the other hand, racing between other cars who happen to be driving on the same road is just stupid and irresponsible.

I'm really not sure why you expected anything other than what you are getting. We all drive on the roads, and nobody appreciates the kind of behavior you describe. Live and learn.
