Default Hit up by my old car.

so i was coming home from starbucks with my venti tea between my legs as a cup holder.

i turned onto a straight stretch of road and there was a subaru impreza 2.5rs (GC8 model) behind me. my old car.

as im looking at it. i hear it WOT. so going about 25 at the time i down it into 2nd punch it. going into third i dont get it in all the way so sorta bounced it off the limiter. but got it into third and saw him pretty far in my mirror by then.

i turned again and went slow cause i wanted to talk to the guy say whats up and tell him i used to have an impreza like that (still love that model) but he guns it past me again with his girl in the passenger (i saw her laughing at me or something haha ) so i punch it again up to 50 mph and that was enough to have him way back there.

at the stop sign again try to say whats up but he just guns it and leaves as i turn in to my neighborhood.

pssh w/e tried to be nice. ill be looking for his story maybe on rs25 haha

but yeah those things never had to much power since they weight the same (he had a passenger too and i only weigh 120lbs) and only 160 crank hp. runs 16s 1/4 mile.

thought id write about it cause it was my first street encounter with the s2k. (besides friends) never been hit up before and it was my first car that hit me up too. haha

end.

also if anyone can help to see if i did damage to my car heres the under the hood thread about it with video. so help if u can

- THanks ,

165hp +AWD drivetrain loss= a little over 100hp to the wheels. I don't know why people love the GC8 2.5RS. I can understand if it was the GC8 WRX or 22B, but the 2.5RS?

when they brought the gc8 to america they detuned it to test the market.

they usually have around 120 to the wheels. people love the gc8 cause they prefer the looks of that model year and also its the lightest of the bunch.

there are tons of people who have swapped out the crappy na engine for the turbo charged ones and they kick!

i personally drove a friends sti swap and it was awesome.
