Cut the poor guy some slack, he is speaking a language he does not know as well as you. It sounds like he and the z entered the corner at the same time accept hs bimmer was on the inside and the z had the outside. He should be faster having the inside advantage, and exiting the coner he had the z by a couple lengths. Sounds plausible to me, it was not a straight line race. He was saying they do not handle all that well, and depending on the year and model z he is right.
