Talking Me vs 70s Cuda

I pull into the gas station to get some gas and I see a blue 70s Cuda sitting there, with huge drag radials on it. I pull to the pump across from him. He is getting race gas. I go ahead and get my gas and walk back out right as he is starting it. Cammed like a mofo. I was like uhh.. So I figured I might as well see how bad he would beat me. We get caught at a light (keep in mind my top is down) I asked him if he was going to the dragstrip , he replied "yeah im on my way now". We slowly take off and I keep it in first, also remind you my clutch is completely gone. I am at about 5grand or so. He romps it at the exact same time I do. I slam second and my clutch slips hard but it eventually grabs. To my surprise I look to my right and he is right next to me I hit third a little lighter and there was no slipping and I started to pull on him. By the top of 5th I was about 3 lengths on him and super pumped . I felt great about the kill. Never did talk to the guy at the dragstrip (that is where I was going) But I did see him run. His best pass was a 13.8@95, his average pass was 14.2. Im not sure why he had radials on it and even a cam! Have no idea what motor was in it either, but its just funny to see a Vert N/a sporty 4 banger beat a slicked out cammed muscle car in a straight line lol

13.7@99 with a really bad slipping clutch. With a clutch and a tune I know I would see below 13.5 BUT im done drag racing, because I had a clutch before I started doing that I made about 15 passes this year

It definitely wasn't a hemi......unless they guy sucked bad at racing. I knew a guy with a Hemi Cuda that was doing high 12's all stock.
