Here we go

This EP3 is a friend of mine and we swapped a TSX motor into it (K24a2 pretty sure). Bolt on's include an I,H,E,TB, Tune and I'm pretty sure Intake Manifold I forget. It's bolted to an EP3 transmission so it's 5 speed so his gearing works perfect for that motor. Dynoed 226 WHP and 189 TQ. My mods are I,H,E. We did 2 races. Both from 40 to 125 and we both started in 2nd so I was right outside VTEC. First run with the top down he pulled a fender to 125 and the second run I put the top up I had him by a fender as well. He shifted into 5th and I shifted into 6th by the time we let off. Both had no passengers. I was very surprised with the results. Next time we run ill be sure to get a video. Thanks for looking.

 

Good runs, BUT, that transmission is NOT perfect for that motor at all.

He'd spank your ass with a k20z1 or z3 tranny instead of that junk he's running.

It might be nice to drive around each day with a 5 speed tranny, but it's definitely not faster.

 

yeah, that 5 speed is killing him. he makes great tq but with a good gearing 6 spd he would def do some work.

 

True man. I'm only assuming because that's what he's telling me. Maybe he meant for daily driving.

Either was I had fun and would love to run him again with a video next time.
