This has been a common argument with many 350z and S2000 owners. Its great to see that one 350z owner was honest enough to post this thread. It doesnt happen to many times and for that my hat goes off to him!

He got the jump off the light .073 vs .448. and he stayed right there in the same spot for the entire 1320. I was truly surprised. I thought the Z would pull at least a little on him, but it didnt seem to...until maybe the very last 200 or so.
The rest is as follows.

Z S2000
60' 2.122 2.150
330 5.936 6.047
1/8 9.056 9.192
MPH 79.17 78.76
1000 11.731 11.883
1/4 13.984 14.165
MPH 101.52 98.71
I don't understand this...you said he got the jump, and that you didnt pull on him...yet you still won? I dont understand...if he got the jump and you didnt pull any, then he should have won...? Or am I just being slow tonight?

He means reaction times, which don't count towards the ET.

But it does mean the S2k actually got to the end of the track before him.

Nope, doesn't really matter. Individual lane timers start when the individual cars start moving. So a stock civic can get off the line while I don't budge, beat me to end before I start my run... and NOT win.

It's not really a head-to-head race. It's two independent races that are just run at the "same" time.
