Default NSX encounters

I was on my way to vegas, about 2/3's there from so cal. and I ran into a 95 lightly moded black nsx. Needless to say he caught sight of my Yellow S2k and we both shifted down into lower gears waiting for the next opening in traffic. The 15 freeway to vegas in notorious for long stretches of road. I right behind his tale as we change lanes into an opening. He didn't even wait for me to get along side of him but I was on his ass from 3rd gear, and 4th gear. It wasn't until middle of 5th gear, and 6th gear to 150mph that he started to pull away. He wasn't pulling away all that fast either. At the end of the romp he was about 3 car lengths ahead including the one car length that he started with. He finally slowed down rolled his window down and gave the big thumbs up. I have not made any mods to this car yet but I was very thrilled to see how it holds againsts it's older brother. Through all of this I also achieved 30mpg driving that length of time well over 100mph and the rest of the time at about 80mph.
This is a truely phenominal automobile...

Anyone else out there with NSX stories.

I wasn't quite close enough to draft. I was about one car length and 5 or 6 feet away to begin with. I can believe beating an nsx around a track only because most people don't know how to drive an s2k or an NSX. I can't wait to take my car through it paces in glendora canyon road and willow springs race track.

hmm, sounds like my friends NSX. It's black and a 95 with DC headers and exhaust. He was on his way to Seattle taking the 5 I think, so I'm not sure if it is him or not. Was the guy short looking?
