AP1 - Around 8k, but not 9 (loss of power) Check dyno charts and see the correct RPM.

AP2 - 2 redline blinks.

One of my friends said 3 blinks=9,300 rpm and that is the best point to shift. But i just shift at 9 or right before it.

No ...yes the ap1 starts dropping off at about 8300 but you still need to take it to 9 to take advantage of gearing. If you shift at 8k or even 8300 you will lose steam.

Basically you will be making a lot more hp and take advantage of gearing from 8300-9000 then if you were to shift at 8000 and drop down to even lower RPMs. Thats why dyno numbers are just that, numbers. They dont take into account gearing ratios.

this is also incorrect. Rev limiter is at 9100 rpms and the red lights start blinking at 8900

but I have a hondata flash =] vtec at 4200 ftw
