I was on my way back from the Palisades Mall on 287N...when a 350Z sat next to me for awhile and then took off. I looked at my Wife and she said, "are you really going to let him pass you like that? Go get him!!" So, I turned off my cruise control and rev matched 3rd @ 70mph and caught up to him shifting back into 6th. We were both closing in on some vehicles in the middle lane and I waited for him to choose a lane. He chose the left, so I took the right lane and noticed that there was a HUGE gap between the next set of cars. He took off on me so I rev matched back into 4th from 6th. It took me all of 4th, but once I hit 5th gear I finally started to pull on him. I looked down and saw 5th blink 2 times and shifted to 6th as I pulled about 4 car lengths in front of him. He then hit the brakes and I let off. We played a few more times, but we were pretty even until I hit 5th and I would start to pull on him. I was satisfied and gave him a wave and then took the next exit and headed home...


I could only tell he had an exhaust on the 350Z...
