i finally got to run a fast car ....my car: 2000 supercharged,header,exhaust intake.....all by comptech....stock 96 viper....


twisty mt. road, on the stretches he wouldnt pull but maybe a half a car length and then through the corners i hung really well considering im only 20 and dont know the limits on this car.....i was really surprised on one of the longer stretches that i hung with him. i know he was pushing his car kinda hard because there was black smoke and his motor was roaring, but each time he hammered it i was in v-tec so he wasnt no where close to losing me.....we finally pulled over and the first thing he said was

him: What is that?!
me: its a honda...big smile
Me: were you tryin?
Him: i wasnt puttin it through its paces, but i was definately using the throttle..but in the corners i was goin in strong and each time i looked in my mirror i was like, hes still there?!...

i just smiled then got out and showed him my engine..he was really impressed on how well that little four banger did against his 415 hp viper ...........

i've always loved the viper, those things sound so nice when being pushed hard.

 

Is it just me or does the stats on that site seems a little off? I don't remember the Viper ever being a 13sec car? I thought even the old ones were in the mid to low 12s. They have the 0-100 as 10.7sec yet the 1/4 is 13 sec.

 

yeah, the stats are off sometimes...BUT, i still held up really well to him
