Ran a ws6
I just bought an s2k last week and I love it. I still don't know much about the car but my dad is a manager for the GM plant here in KC and I've driven both the SS and WS6. Both are great cars but nothin like the honda. Since I've had the car I've been challenged to more stoplight to stoplight races than I can count. Not by anything to spectacular like a vette or porsche but a 350Z, a 240 a z3 a TT and smoked 'em all. Then I think it was Monday and I was leaving my GF house and pulled up to the light on an SS and I smoked it and mines stock. I think the fact that the light was a double turn lane onto an on ramp and my handling helped out but once I was of the ramp I was in 4th doin 100+ and he was the one playing catch up in overdrive. Sorry, SS can't compete with 9000rpm redline.
And what IS it with them flying past after you've robbed them of their dignity?????

Dude, you're talking 240hp with NO torque versus a 320+ hp MACHINE with GOBS of torque! He must not have been racing you in that corner and thats where you pulled enough that he couldn't catch back up!
I HARDLY beat him in my NSX and I KNOW for a fact that I can beat a Stock S2k.
(not to mention that SS's don't come automatic...so, there goes the overdrive theory
)
