ok so a few weeks ago i was drivin down a 4lane highway and i was passing through an intersection and a wrx just about blew his engine revving at me and about 15 seconds after that a white integra with one of those rocket exhaust tips that stuck about 2 feet out of the back of his car does a ricer fly-by at about 90. He slowed down to my speed at about 55 and proceeded to stare me down and when he realized i didnt want a race he downshifted and ran it on up to atleat 110 when he got about 20 cars in front of me that rocket tip started bellowing black smoke...sucks for him

He was probably just running really rich. The gas that doesn't get burned in the engine when he shifts then goes out the tail pipe. It won't hurt your car. My accord is like that too.

Unless you mean bellowing like it just wouldn't stop coming out, then thats bad.
