I was cruising home with a friend and a guy pulls up next to me at a light and starts looking at me smiling. I was listening to Selena Gomez so I turned it up. He launched at the light and I then realized it was an MS3. It had him and 2 people in it. He kept ricing around so I tried to line up for a little roll, he just blew by me. Then I finally pull up next to him at the light. I told him I tried to line up but he took off. He says my car is lame ect. I said there may be cops. He said what are you scared you won't get away? Your car is too slow. I said ok, 20 roll so we don't make a bunch of noise launching. He said what are you scared? I said yeah. Light turns green. He launches and I rolled off the line. By the top of 2nd I had about 2-2.5 cars on him and had enough room to get in front of him. Best part was seeing his car lurching and hopping in my rear view/ hearing his turbo spooling and tires squealing. I let off top of 3rd as he rices past me

 

Good kill. Especially since he was an a$$.

 

Was it the current gen MS3? Any mods on your car?

 

Thanks guys. The guy was one of the biggest tools. I don't know why people can't drive normally, and if they wanna get a run...just be friendly about it. Oh well..His car seemed stock IDK. Turbo was kind of loud, maybe it had an intake. The car was the newer ms3. My car only has an HKS 75mm single

 

What a douche. Its good you put him in his place. You should of told him to get a tune and blow his motor.
Those rods are the weakest piece of shits you can put in a car that carries torque at such low rpm's

 

My friend blew up his MS3. I agree with you. My other friend also blew his up, then fixed it...3 months later...it blew again. I think he had a shitty tune though. I mean I like the car, or at least the idea of it. Fun fast little turbo hatch for 20k is nice. The motors seem to finicky though. But yea, he was a total douche lol... He talked so much trash, I didn't say a word about his car. But beating him was enough, especially with his girl in the car. And I had a dude in my car listening to Selena Gomez lmao

 

Own a 2008 MS3 and with just an intake, it dynoes at 250hp/285tq on same dyno my S2K did 197hp on. 1st,2nd,3rd boost limited by ECU and even then I just spin the tires if I punch it due to so much torque or have to ease up when torque steer occurs. 4th and 5th are the best gears for MS3 but if driver knows how to hook up tires down low then should be close. Fortunate enough to own S2K and MS3 and both equally fun to drive. Glad you smoked the douche.

 

Most MS3 owners are real bad asses. Its like they drive a Ferrari or something. haha
