Christ, here we go again.

Stanfield, I actually own an FX35, but I end up with the G every time the FX is in for service, which is fairly often, since we drive the hell out of it.

The "break-gas" launch is actually brake torqueing. And no, its not a rev limiter. You are exceeding the limits of the stock stall converter, hence it wont rev higher than 2500-3k when you apply both gas and brake. But you will leave the line very quickly using this method, AND be far more consistent than if you were driving a six speed.

Man.........newbies are getting to be REALLY arrogant these days.

And what the hell is with three replys to everything? The edit button is your friend. Use it.

Uh....

I never said anything about gas/braking......

Where did you read that in my post?

I too had a 2003 FX35 with Tech Package for 2 years. What a great ride that was.

I can't see where I was be arrogant or rude, just stating the results of my somewhat unscientific test.

To be honest with you, not reading someones post accurately and then attacking them seems kind of arrogant to me? no?

Anyway, I'm done talking about it on my end. I am just glad to be able to choose between two awsome cars every morning.

Drove the S2K today, what is it about Fridays that make you want to drive the car with the top down?

Cheers.

David

The G35 in the vid is an 04. Aren't the 05's MT's the ones with ~300hp?

Yes, sir...however they gain a bit of HP (298), but loose a bit of torque in the mean time (like 10 lbs-ft) And the newer G's weigh a bit more, so im courious to see what the outcome would be between the 04' and an 05' G...

Yeah, comparing a modified S2k to a stock G35 is a really good benchmark.
