If you look at the clock time, with each run it got better. Then it started raining and track closed so i couldn't get anymore runs in but i could've gotten into 13's that day with a couple more runs. This is bone stock by the way, with the top of the airbox off.
I did not say the s2k is a 14.4 and thats it... I said the norm, most times you see a honda s2k run its in that area, and gave up better times as I gave compentancy to the launch and the diver coming down saying the s2k was actually a 14 second car with a great launch and anything less then that is HIGH. There is a big difference between 13.99 and 13.8's althought it may seem small. You can not deny a stock honda s2k (even with exhaust and CAI) running 13'8s is not VERY RARE... I have never seen it happen, and actually haven't seen many run 14 flat. In fact the day I raced there were a handful of s2k's there and no one beat my 14.25 which some would say is not a real strong time... its not "the best the car can do" I admit but to get it down another .33 or so is asking a lot and just personally saying never seen it done.... not even close to 13'8 range or even high 13.9's on a consiatnt basis..... one run in a 100 maybe but again judge of the majority of runs I see not the one freakish fast one. Back to the crack I go....... come to boston and run anything in the 13.8's or low 13.9's in a stock s2k and diner on me and some crack if you want....

The magazines rated the car at 14.3, and thats with a pro driver. Go talk to people that have been on this board for over 2 years and you will find out that 13 second are comon in their croud. Beginners, who don't have too much experience with the car, will not do that well, and unfortunatly, they are the ones who show people the times, therefore giving the S the reputation of a 14.4 second car. If i got a 14.4, my friends would laugh at me and say i can't drive. The S should run 14.0's most ot time with some screw ups in the 14.3 range and some good runs in the 13.8-13.9 range.

If you pay for my trip, I'll be more than happy to come down and maybe the crack explains you not doin so good.

what are you all launching at, and what are you shifting at?9K or 8500 for the shift and what about the launch? That is a real fast time my friend any way you slice it, you have shaved almost a 1/2 second of the pro driver magazine postings.. not go by magzines but someone commented on them in this string and what they report...

Launched at 6,500 and shifted at about 8,800.
