how much power would be needed to keep up with one?

what about a s/c s2k against a evo?

 

probably 350whp+ id imagine.

 

i've said this a 1000 times but my friend with a 504whp cobra put half a car on my 384whp turbo s2000 from 40-100. From 40-140 he put maybe 2-3 cars on me! I recently raced another one with my car making 420whp and we were basically neck and neck until i beat him by half a car at 90mph!

So im guessing he was around 540-560whp. I have about 305ft/lbs of torque from 5000rpms- 7500 which tapers to 270 at 8700rpms. So you can see why i would loose at higher rpm pulls as my car is losing power the further i go up on the rev band!

Has anyone raced a BMW M3 E46? i have a turbo and wondring how i would fare against an E46 turbo. this guy i know has been hounding me for a race.

 

how much power is he making? you could do some bench racing and look at the power he makes, and the power you make, and then compare weight! if you were to race him, go from 30-40 mph, and stop around 100-110! Higher end your gearing and aero may hurt you compared to an autoban cruiser like the E46

 

i got this kid from a fast food restraunt with a rx-7 fd tt (1993) with just a exhaust, and he told me that he killed ap2 and ap1 s2k's all the time!! i did some research and found out that average drivers in fd are around 14.7. what do you guys think??

 

I had a stock 2002 vortech 7psi at one time and I did have a little encounter last year with a modded sti, I think it was an 06. Anyway, I was in front and the sti was on my ass wanting to run. I started to pass a truck with open road ahead and I hit the gas at 65 mph in third. The sti fell back about a car and stayed there. I shut down at 135 mph because i was tired of the hurricane katrina affect with the top down. He went by me and kept accelerating. Had a nasty sounding exhaust, gauge pods etc. Certainly did not seem like your average sti to me.
