You probably can beat a stock c5 z06 with 400whp. normal c6 and c6 z06 would get ya.

A 400whp S would take the stock c6 no problem and put up a hell of a fight against the z06 which would be too close to call in bench racing.

C6 makes 430 crank hp and weighs more.

i was wondering who would win. i have a 02 s2000, with AEM intake and exhaust.(not sure what type of exhaust though) my brother has a 2003 mitsubishi eclipse GTS with no mods. me and him wanted to race since i got my s back in may, we just never gotten around to it. but this spring we told each other that we are definitely going to race. I'm just curious cause he says he can beat me, and i say i can beat him

 

But in all fairness this should be no contest @ all. You should easily walk him every single time! Those cars @ best are mid 15s completely stock. And an S @ best is anywhere from 13.8-14.2s completely stock!

No contest! The newer Eclipse would be a better match but you should still take the new one.
