My friend just got a new Mazdaspeed3 I dunno what year
Anyhow he wants to race sometime. I know nothing about these things.
What do you guys think? My mods are in sig

 

Well, stock for stock (depending on the driver), the Mazdaspeed3 can catch up to an S2K through the 1/4 mile and it traps a bit more, I believe; however, with your mods, you should take him from anywhere, including a dig or a roll.

 

How much whp would it take for an s2k to take out a stock or mildly modded 370z?

 

a lot. i'd guess at least 260whp. i saw a stock 370z keep up with a 06 viper. that thing is QUICK.

oh that's it lol, i was thinking like 275-290 at least. I guess people are overrating them.

well saying that a 370z kept up with a Viper is overrating it IMO. lol I don't think a s2k with 300whp can get anywhere near a viper, yet it can destroy a 370z or there's some conflicting info somewhere.
