Default S2K driver sought by police

Maybe somebody here can fill in the details?

I just caught the tail end of this story on the news last night. A yellow S2K (mine is black!) with (I think) NH plates was involved in an accident that left several people in critical condition. I think it was Rt. 93. Witnesses said that the S2K was trying unsuccessfully to provoke a Jaguar(?) to race and ended up causing a multiple car accident involving the Jag and an SUV or Minivan. The S2K did not stop and is being sought, or maybe has been caught already by now.

Other than that, a wonderful sunny summer day here in NH today.

See what street racing can do? I hope they get him and he pays dearly for it!!!!! Plus, I pray that the injured heal up and have no after effects from the S owner's stupidity.

Question, I always thought that you do not stop if your car yourself is not involved in the accident. Scenario, you swerve out of a the way of something causing another car to swerve away and hitting another car, but your car is not involved in the accident. You may have caused it but were not involved. So is the consensus to stop or you only stop if you are hit???

YOU ALWAYS STOP WHEN YOU SEE AN ACCIDENT HAPPEN!!!

If you think otherwise, you're an idiot...You stop, call 911, and do what they say, then you talk to the police since you are a witness. Also, you do not have to actually make contact to be the cause of the accident.

Honestly, you actually thought you're supposed to drive off if you see an accident. Would you want everyone to leave you if you're hurt in an accident?
