Nothing is really wrong with either car. They both fulfill what they were made to do.

SRT-4:
Was made for cheap, straight line performance, nothing more, nothing less. Nice hp, nice torque. It's a fast car for an affordable price. Wasn't made to be a sports car, just a good straight line performance machine that anyone could afford.

S2000:
Bred for the track, nice hp, not a whole lot of torque, not the best to mod. Made to auto cross, not made for straight line performance. Made to be a pure bred sports car for a decently affordable price.

Why even compare the two? Opposites. Different things float different peoples boats.

Wow...that thread went down to "my dad is bigger then your dad" in my opinion. Not a single one of them made an educated point on the last few pages. All forums have a few people they would rather not have representing them as a group. It's a shame it's those that always seem to get themselves heard.
that's because that srt guy is obviously a remnant of the now disbanded War Stories forum on SRT4 forums. that's exactly how they argue over there. if you make a point, prove them wrong, or anything of the sort, all they do is resort to name calling and immature remarks.

Funny thread. My favorite part is some guy with some ancient beater J30 bashing other people, priceless. "Yeah man, my mom's hand-me-down sedan is slow, but I'm willing to argue about cars that run 13s on the internet. I rule!"

correction. it offers good STRAIGHT LINE performance for the money. if you're looking for any OTHER kind of performance other than that, you're money is much better spent on something else.
What about the new SRT-4 ACR?

he went on to state that he bought it when it was new; in 1993.

just to clarify.

I never said anything about staged upgrades. Hell, I haven't even heard of the staged upgrades. All I know is that Psi-fi tested their car and the stock bottom end, tranny, clutch, head, etc etc was FINE until they pushed over 500whp. That means to me that a stock clutch would hold 400whp for a good long time.
