S2K vs. C5
I was driving home from S. Austin Sunday night when I came upon a C5 Vette w/ aftermarket exhaust (Borla?). I knew he'd dust me if he wanted to, but thought I'd see if he wanted to play. No luck, he let me go by.
I get on S. MOPAC, and hit the red light @ William Cannon. The C5 pulled up to my right, but I didn't think anything of it since he didn't seem anxious to play. Soon as the light turns green, he punches it, and I instinctively did the same after catching on to the fact that he wanted to dust me. He was already 1-2 lengths ahead of me by the time I got going, but I was genuinely surprised at how well the S2K held the gap...the C5 didn't seem to be pulling away at all after I got going.
I'll call it a loss, but I was pretty happy that it wasn't worse than expected!
