It was around 3 o'clock, and i just dropped my friend off to work. As i pulled out a Mustang...(Looked like it would if you sent it into Saleen, and had them re-do a lot of stuff on the car) He has a big wing, Exhaust comming out the sides infront of the rear tires, (had some squar rectangle badge on the side with some red and another dark color on it, if anyone knows what that is), and some other stuff. All in All i thought he was going to smoke me.

I could tell he wanted to race me the whole time, cause he kept reving really high, slowly. I just kept my normal driving and shifted at 4k.

We were on Golden Lantern, and there were a thousand cars, so there was no room to play, and i didn't really want to play, cause i thought i was going to get my ass handed to me.
Finally we hit Crown Valley at the bottom of Golden Lantern, and both are making a right, he has a green arrow to turn right but waits for me. We both turn, i just hit v tec for a second in first gear, and he revs up a little. Finally he was bout a car and a half infront of me and i just punched it in 2nd. Once he heard the deep roar of my intake trying to get air, he started to go. I was at door when i shifted to 3rd, and I just pulled even harder. Once i hit 4th i was pulling more, then shifted to 5th and i had him about 3 cars. I put my windows up once i hit 4th gear. He had his top down.
Probably would have been different if he had his top up.

So, me being the scared person for getting caught for a "Competition of Speed" Ticket, i was afraid my carma would come back to get me, so i just pulled up into a close neighborhood for safety. Drove in the neighborhood for about 45 seconds, and when i came out a cop was sitting right there pulling someone over where i just turned into. I was scared shitless, and it made me see how racing is not really worth it on the street, and if you want to race, if anything you should go to a designated place. The feeling of your heart dropping down to your toes it he worst.
All in All it was a fun race. I didn't even want to race, but the guy wanted the site of my rear plates.

Yea that sounds like ford Rousch option...lots of show i don't know about the go...knowing ford there's a 6cyl model.

6 cyl. Roush Mustangs don't have the side exhaust and he would have destroyed a cyl. so it was an 8cyl. It coulda been a stage I or II Roush which means it is basically a GT with side exhaust, some minor suspension mods, possibly a Roush cold air, and rims. Either way- good kill

 

Yea, it was a fun race, i wish i would have looked over at his face.

Roush is like Saleen and Steeda only Saleen actually gets a Ford o.k. to offer factory type warranty. Most of these guys build an all looks and no go cars. Most of the SC models are in the 45k+++ range up to about 125K for still a mustang. The Saleen SR hits that price. Sweet car and race ready.
