So my friend has a 97 Lexus SC300 manual and he claims he will take out s2000's like nothing. I plan on picking up my s2000 in a few weeks and wanted to know if you guys have ever raced an sc300 manual on the road before? His car only has an intake and suspension mods such as Teins.

So from a stop, who would win you think? From a roll?

sc300 is basically an n/a supra heavy as and no ballz. Mid to high 15s stock my frined. Now smoke him!

 

Your friend is an idiot. His car does mid 15's at best. If he's so confident, run him for $$. Make some quick bucks while you're at it. Doesn't matter from a roll or stop, as long as you even know what you're doing, you'll cream it.

 

Thanks for the info guys. Yea I know his car is heavy like a boat but I sat in it and it does pick up pretty well. Granted its a NA Supra since it has its 2JZ-GTE engine pumping 220hp... im afraid of his torque thats the thing.

He told me the other day he was driving to work and this s2000 was messin with him so they were going at it and the s2000 never left him.. he was on that guy's ass the whole time... so thats why im not sure.
