I'd assume that if you got a turbo for performance, you'd get the BOV as well. But who knows.. I don't own a Turbo

Sorry but that doesn't make any sense.

Having a BOV (Blow Off Valve) or BPV (Bypass Valve) doesn't make much of a difference.

An S4 gives a lot of performance right? It wouldn't be good to put a BOV on that car. Or my car. Only a BPV

A BPV (By Pass Valve) and a BOV(Blow Off Valve) are the same creatures. They just release the pressuized air in your intake system during shifts so that you dont stall out your compressor wheel when you close the throttle plate.
An s4 has one and so does every modern factory turbocharged car I can think of.

What is an amm that you speak of. I have heard that s4's have BPV's that are leaky and should be upgraded. Not having a BPV could potentially hurt performance by stalling out the compressor wheel on shifts. I feel that every turbocharged car should have one for turbo longevity and potential increase in boost response.
Do you feel otherwise?

Do you feel otherwise?
1. An AMM is a Air Mass Meter. It measures the air coming in from the intake pipe before the turbo. For example in my car (Saab 9-3 with T7 ECU), the AMM measures the amount of air that comes in. If my car had a BOV, the measurement would be all screwed up because it would let the air out to the atmosphere basically getting rid of the air. Therefore, my car has a BPV which lets the air recirculate back into the intake and retains the same amount of air the AMM first recorded.

2. EVERY turbo car has either has a BPV or a BOV. Of course I agree with the fact that every car should have a BOV or BPV, it's essential and very neccessary. No company makes a turbo car without installing a BOV or BPV (I hope so at least). Also stock BPV that come on turbo cars are fine but it's always good to replace it with a better one, for example if you're gonna raise boost or if the BPV gets old.

Also, just to clarify things, if you have a BOV, it makes that "woosh" sound whenever the throttle closes (letting off the gas). With a BPV, it just lets the air back to the intake when letting off the gas so you can't hear the noise, unless you use a BPV to vent into the atmosphere which wouldn't be a good idea.

I'm sure you already know this because you have a DSM but I just don't want things to get mixed up. My friend has a TSI Talon, I believe same as yours. Fun car to drive.
