First let me say that I really admire the S2000, great car with awesome suspension and a sweet engine.
Second, as a VW enthusiast (20V turbo owner) I feel I have to apologize for the troll that started this thread. We aren't all this immature and close minded. Some of us know and appreciate a great car when we see one.
I'm sure a lot of you know about the capability of the 20V Turbo (aka: 1.8T) found in our VW and Audi's, but I thought I'd let you know that there ARE some serious versions of our cars out there. Aside from the major gains of chipping and a turbo back exhaust, there are guys easliy running 300-400+ hp with all stock internals in the engine. Basically these guys run something like a T3/T4 BB turbo upgrade with revised intake manifold and exhaust system along with new software (of course there is more behind the scenes equipment, but that is the major stuff). BillyT, from Texas is ~425 crank HP and hits the 12's at the track. That was this past fall. He should be into the 11's this season.
Again, I apologize for the troll. I'd like to line up to him in my 20V T and show him a REAL launch. Any of you see a black 20V T screaming around Philly, don't be afraid to roll by and wave!
