How old are you? Code 3? And its not an ignorant post I am just telling you the facts plan and simple. This is from my experience with my S2k. I am not going to stoop to your level and try to argue with you. I am not going to waste my time. I am upset with all the people saying ohh they spent half the price and their car is so much better. I had a GTi as well and I know what they can and cant do. Sorry I pissed you off but that is how I feel. Too many idiots here in Hawaii revving on S2000 owners. Get real. I will gladly come back to California and race your vw. That will be a easy victory. If you want to start verbal shots at me go ahead. I will tell you one thing, you wont win. I am from San Diego and have been in the import racing scene since the early 90s. So I DO KNOW WHAT YOUR CAR CAN AND CANT DO WITH AND WITHOUT MODS. I have raced plenty of modded vw's in the past several years. I have seen Civic Si's hang with the VR6s. You need to get your facts straight buddy. This conversation is over.

Code: Wow, an s2k to 1.8T convert!! If you don't mind, what made you switch? Practicality? You couldn't be more on point though. Do you spend time on Vortex at all?
JDMs2000: You say you are giving the facts plain and simple? How? Your statement of how poor all VW's are, which is based on an automatic 2.0L 115crank hp car couldn't be more convoluted. Yeah you can take a VR6...so can I, but the majority of this thread compares the 1.8T (whether in an Audi or VW) to your engine. It is a plain and simple fact that our engines can perform. I know the orginator of this post is a troll and is pretty immature, BUT you need to get your facts sorted out too. The 1.8T can perform...it's a proven fact.
You should get a ride in a correctly set up 1.8T (Audi, Jetta or GTi). You might be surprised, even like it, and possibly learn something.

O lord. You are one of the dumbest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting on this board. Please kindly shut your mouth and stop making other s2k owners look bad. Whats wrong, you cant argue with the facts? I havent stooped to any level other than a factual one. If you would like to argue the facts I have presented, Ill be waiting for you here. Lemme guess, now that Im a VW owner, its a waste of your time. Problem is, you dont seem intelligent enough to hold a mature converstation, so lets not bother.
