So I was driving home from school today and about a mile from my house I pulled up behind a grey Tesla Roadster at a stoplight. When the stoplight went green I started following him up an inclined road hoping he'd get on the ga.... err electrons a little, and luckily he obliged. I got on the throttle a second or so after him midway through second gear and went all the way up to redline in 3rd... by the time I was there he had easily pulled about 3 or 4 cars on me. The way that thing picks up speed especially going uphill is crazy, and hearing no sound from the car was kinda surreal.

Anyway, I'm not the type to post frequently in here but that's my story

 

Nice. Never a shame to lose to a car such as a Tesla Roadster, even if your S2000 makes louder engine noises at idle than the Tesla does at WOT.

 

i test drove one and the torque is really impressive, especially since it only has one gear, really puts your stomach in check.

 

I was out at a local 1/4 track here in Colorado and was amazed to see the thing running consistent 12.9 like it wasn't even trying...

Electricity is like cheating when it comes to low end tq

 

they typically run low 13's high 12's depending on the heat...we have electric car drag days at the PIR up here...there also pretty unreliable from what i've seen...they only trap 101-103...
