Default Truck vs ap1

So I was on my way downtown last night after getting in a fight with the gf so I'm not in a great mood. Stopped at a red light then this pulls up next to me... http://tinyurl.com/4khdt5x

He had rims and converted to HID without projectors so it was blinding everyone... typical truck guy. Didn't think anything more than annoying really. Light turns green and I pull off slowly in first and then I hear him WOT. So what do I do? Wait...wait... wait some more.... vtec just kicked in yo!!!

I probably surprised him because before vtec he was a head and then I just walked on by. He gave up when I shifted to 3rd several cars in front of him. Guess he just thought his new truck was hot sh*t. Thanks for making my night better

The Tundra was probably towing 5 other cars & still was just right there with you.

I own a double cab tundra 5.7. Im preeeeeeeetty sure that from 5-60, you could stay in front of a stockish s2000. w/ the tow package the tundra has a 4.3 rear end, and w/ 400lbs of tq, the low end is nasty, after that its just a truck. I think C&D clocked one a 6. seconds to 60 and 6. 5-60. Its getting rough for s2k's out there these days. Either way a kill is a kill.

Maybe I'm wrong about exactly what truck it was. Saw the thing on side saying 5.7L and did a google search and it looked just like it.

Haha, I face that every day, although I don't actually race them. Down here in the south, every other car is a jacked up truck with super loud exhaust. I let them pass me by since I don't feel the need to waste gas on them. If anything, I'll make sure I get a good start at the light and go about my business.

A kill is a kill, .
