LOL, alex. A while back you said the van had a 370fwhp SR20DET motor.... What happened did you blow it up and replace it with the VG30?? And there's nothing wrong with posting pics on the internet. I'm sure it would lay to rest this whole minivan arguement...

Whoa, cravnpup, I NEVER said SR20DET. NEVER.

I dare you to find me a thread where I said SR20DET. It's always been the 300ZX TT motor. ALWAYS.

As for the hp numbers, we dyno'd at 370fwhp while at 17psi; we've since upped the boost to 19 un-intercooled psi (no upgraded intercooler, mind you), so I was estimating ~400fwhp.

It's very complicated, and I've explained it far too many times to explain it again.

Long story short: No pics. Get over it.

It was in your signature a long time ago (edit: I thought it was in there. It could have indeed said VG).. Why run 19psi w/out intercooling if the VG comes with twin units??

No it wasn't. It said VG30DETT. Can anyone back me up on this? (EDIT: You may have just confused my sig with one of the many posts in which I discussed the SR20DET .)

We have a JWT liquid/air intercooler on the ready, but to retrofit it into the van, we would have to relocate the radiator to accommodate the intercooler. But to move the radiator further back means the A/C condenser has got to go.

And I don't know how it is in Colorado (), but in Houston, we need the A/C.

BTW, there is an intercooler, if it's worthy to be called that. So far, overheating is not a problem, nor is detonation, or pinging; it currently runs trouble free [knocks on wood].

It's friggin hot here in the summer... Anyway, please understand I'm not trying to call you a liar or anything, just trying to help you support your claims... Why not post the vin numbers from the van and motor?? I guess I missed the whole "reason for not taking pictures" thread... So why not just have the s2ki members chime in and tell it how it is, or at least name the ones who've seen it...

It's hot here in the summer... AND the winter.

I forget which ones have seen the van. I just know they're members of S2ki. It was at a meet at the Hooters (I-45 and FM-1960) where I stopped by; I was driving by and saw all the S2000s.

One of them is 95 Five-0 (he's the only one who's ridden in it, when we took it to 130+), but he hasn't been online for almost 6 months. He drives a Mustang, obviously, and is a personal friend.

Anyway, I know exactly where you're coming from. No offense taken at all. As for the "reason for not taking pictures thread," it doesn't exist. But I have explained it many times in every other thread.

Don't the stock Quest's come with the SR20DE motor? I'm not sure about that, but that's probably why I thought you were running the SR20DET as it would make for a more simple swap....

No, Quests use the VG30E (3.0 V6) - same block as VG30DETT but without the twin turbos and the DOHC heads. It was a direct swap (almost), except for the tranny, which we had to source from a Maxima 5A/T (VG30DE variant).
