Sorry to say.. I have a e46 vert right now that's stock 6mt.. i have taken many bolt on s2k many times in the straight (intake/exhaust/headers).. as couple friends have fixed up s2k's. Twisties will be a different story since s2k is the super at cornering.

I'm guessing your friend had a SMG? and didn't red line it when he was racing you..

from a dig with my frinds s2k on the freeway.. ill take him by 4 cars at least. 50-120mph (there all track junkies so they all know how to drive)

 

Ok so i just raced my friends e46 coupe 6 speed manuel and he got me once and i got him once but honestly he should have won but his shifts kinda take a bit to long. Plus i had a passenger.

And yess the Convertible one was a SMG but he was definately shifting at redline.

I call bull shit... I raced my buddies e46 conv. Took me every time... It might be heavy but 330hp beats 240 all day that weight isnt that significant..
