I love my S2000, but it's no match for a new 911. Perhaps he dusted an old 914.

 

This weekend at the Import show and drags an S2000 that was bracket racing dialed in time was a 15.00

I dont think many porshes run this slow.

There was a new 996 TT with a Gemballa kit,susp,upgrade turbos etc...about 160k worth...600 hp. dialed in a 12.1 @ 120 mph. This car was capable of 11's but seem to bog his launches...then explode.

What is modified in my car??? Small thing's... But it make big " Horsepower " at low cost??? And no problemo... For the warranty!!!

0-60 on a stock NEW 911 is 5.0 sec for a manual (factory time). Not 4.5. Yeah im surprised you won, but hey, nice kill.

 

Porsche is very conservative with their performance #'s. They claimed the last model year (01') 0-60 was 5.2 sec. and many articles have tested it out in the 4.8-4.9 sec. range. Car & Driver recently had a segment on their C&D television show where they tested the new Porsche and got a 4.6 sec/12.6 sec. out of it. How I am not sure but they did it.
