^im tellin you, you have 2 good drivers from both cars stock for stock it will be dead even.

my best friend had one before he got his evo

from a 25 roll up too 110 we were dead even.

then there have been times were i have raced several other stock wrx's and lightly modded ones and pulled them pretty good

You might want to get your S2k checked out. WRX's trap ~90mph v. the S2k's trap of ~100mph. Your results do not add up. My old Celica GTS was slower than my S2k, and it still pulled stock WRX's pretty hard.

what are you talking about we went from a roll and we were not doing the quarter mile

there is nothing wrong with my s2k what makes your think that 02 wrx with 225hp 225trq is that much slower?

Trap speeds are very indicative of a cars overall speed. With a measly 90mph trap speed it is very obvious that the only reason a WRX isn't a mid 15 second car is because of the AWD launch.

What's wrong with it is that because of AWD it actually puts down ~170whp and weighs in at ~3000lbs. An S2k with ~200whp @ 2800lbs should not have any problem walking away from one at any speed and ESPECIALLY from a roll.

I'm willing to put a lot of money on that one. Unless you have some magical method of extracting another 10mph out of a stock car I don't see any way it will keep up.

I have cars with 100+ more lb/ft of torque than the S2k and let me tell you that torque is overrated, trust me. Torque satisfies the ol' butt dyno more than it does acceleration numbers, which is probably why the S2k still has a faster 0-60 than a WRX even with the AWD launch.

Haha I can see a stock S2k pulling a stock WRX from a roll, but a celica GTS the WRX driver must have died during the race. Thats not going to happen unless the celi was highly modded. Stock s2k vs stock STI not even going to touch that one thats going to start a flame fest.
