While walking my dog this morning, I watched my neighbor pull a sil/blk out of his garage....I went over to inquire.

Turns out he's a Toyota sales man, and this beautiful example with crappy tires and 40K on the clock could be had for $32,500. Oh and thats a good price considering they go for more than that at the auction he says.

As he drove away vtecing on a cold motor, I laughed thinking "Im so happy I wont be car shopping anytime soon"

I think he meant that the gentleman was reving excessively for cold condition; not good for engine longevity.

I actually saw an S2K at a Mercedes dealer down here in the South Bay. Just out of curiosity, I called to see how much they wanted for it. The car had 27K miles on it and they wanted $31,999.

Wow! I'm hoping to get $31,500 for mine w/ only 6000 miles on the odometer. That makes me feel better. It snowed Monday so the beast is sitting in the garage with the car cover on. Hopefully I'll find a buyer before the yellow one comes in April...
