What an idiot. I'm not cutting this guy any slack cause he screws up the pricing for the rest of us. That dealer was able to sell the S2K at $50K, they're not going to try to sell at anything lower now.

Get real man, there are only so many idots in any given population..... Needless to say idiots with $50k to blow... you must have to be an early bird to get the money before he "gives" it to someone else

The same dealership that I bought my White/Red '01 from for a little over MSRP is rumored to have sold one for $54,000. They tried the standard $5,000 markup crap on me but the negotiations changed when they realized I knew what I was talking about. I agree with everyone on this post who has said that this guy got what he deserved - if you don't do the research ahead of time, its your own fault...

I would understand if this was a 2000 model .... there were rumors about only 1 production year for this car. And collectors were shoping everywhere, I saw ads on paper all the time back in the Spring of 2000.

But c'mon, a 2001 ..... what in the world got him to sign the papers, I very much would like to know.
