Thanks Marc,

I bet this is it...thanks for the link!! Sounds like those screws in the plastic sleeve located above each window need a little grease. If that's it we all will be able to enjoy that beautiful engine sound without that annoying click. Any grease recommendations that I can go out and buy at my local car parts store, as I don't have any in stock? There was a reference to some Japanese Honda grease in the link, but I have no idea what that is if I want to do it myself.

Thanks again.

I had this clicking sound in my '02 also and it happened in cold temperatures only. I just removed the plastic sleeves and greased them up real well. I used some synthetic grease that I use for mountain biking but I'm sure the Honda Shin-etsu grease (available from the dealer or handa-accessories.com) would work fine.

Thanks Jason. The photo showing the actual screw is very helpful. I bet a tiny bit of Vaseline around the screw would do the trick.

Thanks again....I'll give it a try.

Thanks! Boy, was this driving me crazy. As soon as I get my car back on the road, I'm gonna try this. Is it just the one little Phillips head screw in the plastic sleeve or did the tech lube more than that?
