I spent 2 years trying to find a car that would give me as much joy as my M3. I finally parted with the M3 in November. Except for a few creature comforts and a good stereo I do not regret the trade. The M3 was costing me big bucks - AC compressor, fuel pump, alternator, ABS pump, etc. After a S2000 test drive I went home and put the M3 in the paper. The M3 was awesome but it was time to move on. I will say the 04 S2000 with the changes ( I won't say upgrades for fear of a war ) caught my eye. I would not have made the trade for an 03 or earlier.

Please don't flame me for expressing my opinion on the 04-05 changes. I just think the wheels alone are a big improvement.

Why are you holding back? I'm curious to know how you really feel.

Something tells me that wasn't darkearth behind the keyboard of those posts. Maybe if this was his first day on here, but with that time frame, I'd guess that someone's buddy/little brother got ahold of the keyboard.

back on topic,

A good friend of mine has a 98 M3. He absolutely loves it. that being said, he drove my S the other day...and while he hasn't put it in the paper yet, he did keep remarking how well it handled.

with m50 manifold, euro hfm, pullys and a reflash and you'll be easily at 270whp.
