So F20C and F22C have the same head just different cam lobes?
At this point, nobody knows the answer to that.

I would like to have the fuel cutoff raised by just 200 rpm, and vtec engagement at about 5k-5.5k.

FYI: (Please don't ask me to explain or ask for sources)

There is 1 S2000 In North America, (belongs to American Honda) that has a 9000RPM in an MY04. (For testing purposes only)

LOL. I think someone is lost.

Assuming all they did to the 2.2 was increase the stroke, the only thing you know for sure is that they changed the crank and the connecting rods. To perhaps over simplify, all you need to do to increase the stroke of an engine is a wider radiused crank and shorter connecting rods. A 1mm increased radius crank would need a 1mm shorter connecting rod giving you 2mm of increased stroke. Everything else is speculation unless someone knows for sure they changed anything else.

But that is neither here nor there. Getting back to the topic, the fact of the matter is that as everyone before me has said, with the increased stroke, piston speed would be the stumbling block.

Sort of off topic: Does anyone know the stroke for the 2.0? I would love to calculate piston speed at 9k. I bet it is insane. Anyone already know it?

I assume you mean a MY04 with a "2.2" engine and a 9k redline?

Go look again. I'm pretty sure you won't find a clock anywhere on your 02 USDM gauge cluster. Plus, your tach should go all the way from left to right, not just 2/3 the way. And your coolant temp and fuel level gauges would not be curved. The coolant temp gauge would be a bar-shaped gauge on the left and your fuel gauge would be a bar-shaped gauge on the right.

And to the original post... if you just need an ECU and guage cluster swap to safely rev to 9K, then I think I'll swap this stuff into my Accord, so I can rev it to 9000 RPMs!

Just kidding... unfortunately, there's this crazy thing called physics that keeps us from being able to do that safely and reliably.

No disrespect, but...

Don't ask for sources or confirmation, but there is a flying Honda S2000 in North America; it is from the future.

I'm just saying that, without sources, no one knows what to think.

why do you want a 9K redline.
1. Just so it's there.
2. For the hell of it (quote: Burt Reynolds from "Canonball Run")
3. Why not?
4. So I can say I'm the only one with a 2.2 and 9k red.

Honestly, I don't want to trade engines for the 9k. I like the 04's the way they are with the torque and all and don't mind giving up 1k. But, it would be nice to get the best of both worlds.
