Yes, you are right. It confused me. You are correct in your post.

I have a feeling that if he can't afford all 3 of what he asked about, he's not going to afford a blower. In a perfect world, he could do it all.

FOUR MPG on the highway with just 4.44??? Shit! I heard it was 1-2 gain in the city and 1-2 loss on the highway. I'd lose about 5-6mpg on the freeway with 4.57 than!! DAyammm..

I should not have put it in quite that way. I should have expressed it in terms of %. You must realize that I calculate in terms of miles per CAN gallon. Our gallon is a bit bigger than yours, so I got a best of about 39.9 mpg (Can. gal.). I lost about 4 mpg, which is only about 10% reduction - not bad considering that 4.44 gears increased rpm relatively by 8.3%.
So, if you use US gallons of a best of say 30 mpg, then you would be looking at about a 3 mpg reduction. Still a little more than what you heard, but not bad.

this is a cruiser.. not a drag racer..

my z will run 12.41 out of the box..
not going to try the s..

i would say supercharger if you just want more performance.. but.. i don't think it will be a drag racer..

hey guys i'd like to know too... i have an 05 and would like not to void my warranty and live in ca. i was looking to get the exhaust/intake but wasn't sure if that even would void my warranty. also, what is the longevity of the comptec s/c..???

A mod will not void the factory warranty in whole, only the part that was changed and those parts that the mod may affect and they must prove that the part caused the failure. However, any mod will void the extended warranty.
Comptech cars have been running since they first came out (several years) and as long as the kit was not changed to produce more output and maintenance has been adhered to, there is no reason why it shouldn't last as long as any other part of the car. If you change the kit, all bets are off.
