This whole "the S2000 is not a drag racer" is getting pretty old and feable. I think you better tell this guy:

ET ............ 11.1 sec. @ 126 mph.

Oh, what kind of "Z"? If it's a 350Z, that's a high 13 second car. If yours does it in 12.41, it didn't do it "out of the box".
edit: Nevermind about the "Z". I just saw in your sig that it's a Vette.
hell..i'm not bashing the car.. i have one.. and love it..

it just will take a lot to make it a dragster.. great little autox car.. but not really a drag car..
major mods..
you must spend lots o $$ for a 1/4 mile car.. that is what i meant..

Wow - I didn't know that about the Comptech installed at a dealer. Would IK24 sparks and a tuned VAFC constitute as tuning the engine further?

And what's the buzziness you speak of from the 4.44?
How do I find one of these types of dealers?

You call every dealer near you and ask them if they are Comptech authorized installers and distributors. If they don't know what you're talking about, it not likely they are one.
If you live near Hardtopguy in Ohio, you have the perfect dealer right there. They've done many.

Im hoping a new final gear slows me down on the freeway. I speed too much.

I didn't know that any mod voids extended warranties... Sucks for me.

I understand the desire to mod your car - its FUN! - But as to what to do first - that depends on what you see yourself doing with your car - If your looking for fast of the line drag racer - you have a lot of mods to do - If you see it as a GT road racer - you have a lot of mods to do!!!! If you want to do the show car Bling-bling thing - you have alot of mods to do!!!!!
IMO this would be first

If I drag -1. final gear set with reinforced diff.
2. CAI or supercharge
3. Exhaust

If I auto-x / road race - 1. tower and x-brace
2. CAI or Supercharge
3. gearset and reinforced diff.

If I show the car - 1. Upgrade stereo and interior
2. large dia. wheels and tires
3. Body Mods - lot & lots of body mods

The beauty of this car is not just it's outstanding performance, but that it can be any one of the cars above. Now if I was independantly wealthy, this is my list.

Supercharge - x-brace/ tower brace - bling the engine compartment - exhaust and header - light weight clutch and reenforced diff with 4:57 gears - vented hood and gt wing - 19" wheels and tires - gauge set and electronics for cabin - stereo upgrade - custom paint job - (sigh) Mayby I'll win the lottery
