06 warning light question

06 warning light question
What does it mean when my dash displays a little wrench and the message "Engine oil life 15%", rather than the usual information? My oil was changed 1,000 miles ago.

It means you changed your oil too soon and now you only have 15% of your engines life left. That sucks.
Or when you had your oil changed they did not reset the oil life indicator as your car still thinks it has the original oil in. Your manual should tell you how to reset it. You should be good to go from there
