Who cares if it's still for sale.

I'd love it if the 2001 Integra Type R was still for sale with the exact same specs as that year.

Speaking of the DC2R

I see those running around on the streets once in a while (JDM version) ... and I still think it's a beautiful car even thought it's been 10 years already.

The looks, sound and feeling of driving one is just ... amazing.

I thought 08 was going to be the last year, I didn't think dealers were taking orders for 09's.

Honda hasn't officially announced the end of S2000 production, but its been reported, and I've never seen an S2000 built after May 2008. Personally, I think Honda has enough 08s left over to say its selling them in 09, but I don't think its making any more.

It is not legal to change a sticker and call it a 2009.

or is it?

Anybody see a real 09, please post.

IIRC, its an '09 if its sold in 09 (Gets tags/registered). So...any unsold S's can technically be labeled a 09 as long as the 'production date' is accurate.

I've heard rumors that '09 will be the last year for the S2000, but has this been confirmed?
About as confirmed as all the prior "last year" rumors (i.e. nothing from Honda).

Model year has nothing to do with date of sale. You can buy an 09 in 08, for example. And buying an 09 in 10 doesn't make it a 10.
