Don't know when it will be released to the public but that's the hum at the local dealership. They are also stopping production of the new NSX. Reading owns u. I love the internet ego.

Why do you believe Autocar? You've been here long enough - you should know better than to believe some website "news" report. Autocar, R&T, C&D, etc., have been "reporting" S2000 replacements and demises both for years. Dealerships, every single year since the first model, have said it was the last year.

I'm not saying there's gonna be a MY10, I'm just saying I'll believe it one way or the other when I read it on www.hondanews.com and not one second before.

OK... so your friend "CONFIRMED" that Honda did a press release?

So you are telling me that Honda released information to the press but the press is waiting to release it? THIS IS ONE OF THE STUPIDEST THINGS I'VE EVER HEARD.

This has nothing to do with ego.... Elistan is absolutely right, UNTIL IT IS POSTED ON HONDANEWS.COM IT IS JUST SPECULATION.

Australian Wheels magazine has an article on Honda. It states the S2000 is now out of production.

In Nov. 2000 I bought a 2000 S2000. Dealer did the, "This is the only year, limited production" BS. We get into his office, and there's a poster for a 2001 S2000. I don't even remember how he squirmed out of it, but this has been going on since the first year.

When it's 2010 and I can't find a 2010 S2000 I'll believe they don't make them anymore...then I'll buy a 2006-2008 MY for the better price.
