IIRC 13.2gallons, of course the gage is variable based on driving conditions but seems to peg at about a gallon left.

hm..
13.2 gal and ~250 on a good tank.
I suppose s2k are not that great on gas.

although, they do have high compression and high power #s for a inline 4.

I just wish I could go further than 100 miles on one tank. My problem is 10 gal fuel cell wiht garret gt35r turbo and 1088cc/min injectors. Or at least I think that is my problem. But hey who cares. There are some idiots that will sacrafice mpg for rwhp. I guess I am one of those idiots.

1 gallon = about 4 litres

Frankly ... I've never really keep track of my mpg or km/litre. I've only checked it out once or twice about a month after getting my car. Now I just fill up whenever the fuel tank metre's running less than 1/4. I could very well be running 12mpg and would not know hehe

^haha that is crazy.
I'm looking for something sporty with decent gas mileage..

main choices were Z33, AP1 and possibily WRX (not STI).
They'd be replacing my dd, so no major mods.

I've my s13 for that

If your just looking for a comuter that is sporty and gets decent milage, then your going to want something reliable, so you can't beat Honda in that department. S2000 wasn't aimed at good milage, performance was first priority but at 20/25 town/freeway its quite amazing with the race like performance you get. S2000 has alot to offer and is quite a unique and spicific type car that deserves to be well apreiciated by its owner. May I recomend to you a Civic Si? This sounds like it may fit your requirements a bit better.

I drive the shit out of my '05, the 7 or 8 miles to and from school/work and still manage to make well over 22mpg (dividing miles since the last fill-up by how much gas I just put in). Winds up that I make 240-250 miles between fill-ups and with the fuel light on, the tank takes approx 11-12 gals.

Considering that my 265Hp truck gets only 14mpg, I'm happy... I'm sure tomorrow on my way to LA I'll be making well over 25mpg. (I've heard it's possible to make 30mpg stock)

1gal = 3.8L (if you want to be a little more accurate in your calculations)

yeah good point, our car was aimed to run on 91 octane. Here in seattle we have 92, I'm sure 91 would perform better. any lower then 91 and you run the risk of detonation and car will retard timing which woud be counter productive too. Higher octane like 93 or more would reduce milage and performance on conterary to what most people seem to understand.
i would run 92

if California had 92 octane.. i would run that instead of 91.. i read somewhere that most japanese cars that suppose to take premium should use 92 or higher since in japan they done carry 91 but 92+
