Default 18 inch question

Any drawbacks to 18 inch wheels ...do they kill the ride that much ? do they handle better than stock or 17 inch ..I'm thinking about ROH adrenaline in black ice finish with Toyo 225x40x18 in front and 255x35x18 rear .I have no doubt it will look cool my last car was a 2000 camaro SS the switch from 17's to 18's was not even noticeable .

S2000's have small wheel wells. If you're thinking of lowering the car, stay away from 18's. Go with 17's

There is no problem lowering and use 18", not as long as the wheels has the same diameter as stock 16".
225/40 18 and 255/35 18" is realy close to stock diameter, and no problem using on a lowerd car, it you have the right ET

is there any different in handling, comfort with 16,17,18?

I like to put a wider tire on the rear for less oversteer.

If the 18" wheel tire combo is sized properly -- maintaining the same circumference/diameter as the stock 16" inch set up (as it should, to maintain the accuracy of the speedo, etc), you should have no concerns about lowering the car with 18" wheels. The clearances will be the same as they would be with the car lowered on the stock 16" wheel/tire set up. The only issue here to be concerned about is tire diameter, which would be a concern whether you lower the car or not.
