if you have the hardtop and you know yor gonna want to drive top down . leave it off that day.

but i think the hardtop is more for those who dont really like the convertable aspect of the car. and would rather have the car as a coupe (like me )

eitherway, its alot of money

ahh I just said fuk it and the spending spree ont he s2k goes on......Just ordered it thought a shop and for them to do the job, its a robbinstop. I just can;t deal with palstic anymore.......plastic is still in goood condition but the damn plastic folds, and gets drity so fast and a bitch to clean in the inside.......ahhhhhhhhhhhh!! and once it gets colder you cant lower top down or crack. So glass here I come baby

Now its a debate which to do 1st on the install, SC comes next week also.......

dude, you need to be more patient. I did a glass conversion. Bought the top with frames for $900, spent a day installing. Sold old plastic top w/ frame for $450. So i only spent $450 to go glass window. Just like with everything else in life; put in a little effort and it'll go a long way. However, if you have all the money in the world then why bother.

I think its definitely a nice upgrade, but did you ever think of going with a hardtop instead?

not a huge fan of the hardtop, looks goodon some cars. I bought the s2k as a convert for a reason
