My "$2,000" is just an example. Meaning a S2k will always hold some floor value and will never be price at a "beater car."

BTW, I'm not waiting for the $$$ to drop. The purpose of the question is more like I would hate to see it be "worthless" 10-15 years from now.

Or will it sort of be like a Porsche 911. No matter the age and condition (generally) you will not find one under $10,000, or %15,000. So if I was to buy a used 1992 911 for $29,000, it won't become $3,000 car 10 years from now. Don't check my numbers, you know what I mean using this example.

if honda came out with a direct replacement after ap2 production stopped, im sure early high mileage ap1s would be in the $5k range. it's all supply and demand.

I feel as though the S2000 will follow the prelude trend - a good condition (no matter what mileage) will generally stay above 5-7K. Just an opinion

The S will be like many other pedigree sports cars. You may find a ratted out POS for around $5k, but good examples will eventually fetch more money than now as they get harder to find.

I agree. My car is 3 years old today and the low end of KBB's suggested value exceeds what I paid for it when it was new.

Nope. Considering there are 1998 integras out there for $5k, most s2ks I feel will cap down at $8-9k and that's with a lot of miles.

Nope because of basic supply and demand, the S will never be near 2000$.
