2 S2000`s Available At M.S.R.P.
I stopped into my local dealer and they have 2 S2000`s available at M.S.R.P. The 2 colors are yellow and red. The name of the dealer is Rick Case Honda in Akron,Ohio. The phone number is (330) 633-6060. You can ask for Jim Caprez at ext. 130.
Renton Honda (Seattle) has four of them, red, black, yellow, silver in stock right now at the, and I heard a dealer actually say this to someone today, "Special price of $37,300", which was only 5k over msrp.
Don't know if it was even legal advertising, but in fact they had a third sticker saying "Special Price: $1000 off from retail"
Then showing the math: $38,000 - $1000 = $37000
The second sticker added dealer adjusted markup of $6000.
Anyone know if it is legal to claim that as retail? I realize what msrp means, just seems cheezy. I hate dealers.
