Hey guys,

I'm new to the board and this is my first post. I own a souped up '98 Chevy Camaro Z28, that I'm getting really tired of, and I'm all but sold on a 2000 S2000. I just test drove a 2002 at a local dealership, and I must say that the S2000 is an AWESOME car! I'm all set to buy one, but I heard from an acquaintance that the 2000 models are smaller inside than the 2001+ models. Something with the seats? Is this true or just BS? I hope, and think, that it's a load of crap. I'm 6'4", 210 lbs, and I fit perfectly into both a 2002 and a 2003 S, but if 2000 model years are significantly smaller than newer models then I might have problems. Please tell me this is not true, so I can get on with buying one of these wonderful little roadsters!

There are NO difference in interior volume b/w MY 2000 and later model S2000s.

Good luck with you upcoming purchase. I would just confirm whether the vehicle has had the necessary TSBs performed.

Thanks a million, guys! I'm looking at the Pre-owned Honda-Certified cars only, so I'm sure they'll have the TSBs performed. What an awesome car - I can't wait to get into one.

Model Year 1999 only sold in Japan.
MY2000 base year world wide.
MY2001 added clock, release internal to trunk and Spa Yellow color in the U.S.A.
MY2002 added glass rear window, tweeters, better stereo, retuned suspension, minor gear box change. Mid-year added different oil jet bolts inside engine. Also some vinyl trim in cabin. Changed dead pedal from plastic to metal.
MY2003 only changes are color as far as I know.

No changes in interior volume from year to year.
